William Ralph Burgess

William Ralph Burgess, 89, of Wilmore (formerly of Russell County)

died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Thomson-Hood Veterans

in Wilmore. He was born June 11, 1925 in Monticello, Ky to the late

Willie & Myrtie Huckaby Burgess.

He worked in construction as a welder, a member of Church

of God and a Veteran of US Navy.

In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his first wife,

Ella Mabel Morgan Burgess and later married Lilian George Burgess

who also preceded him in death. Also preceded in death by 2 sons,

Billy Dale Burgess, James Darrell Burgess; 3 brothers, Haywood Burgess,

Billy Burgess, Stanley Burgess; 3 sisters, Phyllis Bell, Betty Hill, Louise Fairchild

Survivors

4 children: Gary (Sheryl) Burgess, Russell Springs

                  Sandy (Mike) Loehle, TN

                  Joe (Louanne) Burgess, Wilmore, Ky

                 Pamela (David) Proctor, Elizabethtown, Ky

1 step daughter: Cletta McKinney, Russell Springs

14 grandchildren-15 great grandchildren

3 sisters: Edna Whaley, Cinn., Ohio

               Joyce Chitwood, Florence, Ky

               Ruth Konen, Florence, Ky

Funeral service for William Ralph Burgess will be 1 PM. Friday,

October 3, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.Joe Cox

officiating.

Visitation will be after 10 AM. Friday.

Burial in the Elk Springs Cemetery in Monticello.

                    Isaac Burgess, Zane Burgess, John Loehle, Matthew Loehle
