About Us
Kenneth A. Bernard, along with his wife Eula Mae Bernard, founded Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs, Kentucky, in April 1954. Mr. Bernard continued to serve the needs of the community until his death on July 1, 2011.
Eula Mae Bernard, along with her daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara (and Noel B. Godby) and Johnna (and Jimmy) Matney, operated the funeral home following Mr. Bernard’s death until November 2020.
On November 5, 2020, Bernard Funeral Home was purchased by Aaron Cain and Curt Demrow.
We, at Bernard Funeral Home, are still carrying on the rich traditions that were set forth by Mr. Bernard. We are providing the people of our area with quality and compassionate services for their loved ones, which is a goal that we strive to achieve.
