Harley Donald Cheney, 81, of Eli Community of

Russell County, died Friday, March 24, 2017 at

the Russell County Hospital, ER. He was born

October 22, 1935 in Newport, New Hampshire to

the late David & Ethel Little Cheney.

He was a retired Veteran of US Navy and a member

of Coffey's Chapel United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Elva Palmer.

Survivors

wife: Janet Fowler Cheney, Russell Springs

4 daughters: Julie Cheney, New Hampshire

                     Linda Gould, Dayton, Florida

                     Donna (Peter) Mahair, New Hampshire

                     Shery (Birar) Freak, New Hampshire

6 grandchildren-9 great grandchildren

1 sister: Betty Ansart, New Hampshire

2 brothers: Chester Cheney, Atlanta, GA

                  George Cheney, South Carolina

Funeral service for Harley Cheney will be 4 PM.

Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral

Home Chapel with Bro. Roger Garner officiating.

Visitation 2-4 PM. Sunday.

Interment in the Eastman Cemetery in Sunapee, New Hampshire.

Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs in charge of arrangements.
